Using the computers is concidered to be a previlage, not a right, if a teacher or instructor feels that the way your are using the computers has become a problem, then they obtain the right to revoke your permission. the following rules are to help you further undertand what rules have been laid out:



1. You Must Maintain Good Ethics when using the computers, with people around you.

2. Hacking is strictly forbidden, any sign of this activity will result in a ban.

3. When you need to edit HTML, ask for help if you are confused.

4. Only apporpirate URL's are allowed, ask for help if you need it.

5. The Internet is for school purposes only, any unecessary use wil result in a ban.

6. all Copyright laws are to be maintained, no Copyright infringment.

7. Use Good manners when you are talking with people.

8. No downloading of any applications, without permission.

9. Do not steal anything.

10. Do Not deface the property.

K-W-L Chart

K- I know things about web design already, i have made a few websites over the past few years, and i know alot about different softwares that are used in the industry.

W- I want to solidify my knowledge of what i already know, with new things that i will learn in class. i want to use different software, and see what else is out there.

L- Things that i have learned so far, are alot of differences, using the Mac Computers, and the software that they have.

Sentence:

Due to copyright laws, it is illegal to download pirated software.

Hacker- Someone who intentionaly accesses a computer system without permission. (noun)

Synonyms & Antonyms:

Ethics- Morality, Excellence
Hacker- none for hacker

Sentence:

- A hacker broke into my system, and stole my password!

- I always use good ethics when working, or in school.

URL- The web address in the address bar of your browser.
HTML- A programming language used to modify webpages, and create web pages, as well as CSS.

HTML- home page, HTML documents, web page, internet site.

Sentence:

- I was editing my HTML, so i could change the size of the font on my web page.
